Green Bird Hues Smallprint TEXTILES Creating tree ring patterns fromWatching the birds fly into the garden made me wonder about the spectrum of colours that paints the skies. This colour chart orders the green hues of the most common garden birds in Britain using a combination of image analysis and weighted means. The colours have been identified using scientific illustrations of male birds. The ordering takes into account the proportion of colour, prevalence of the bird and the proportion of gardens they frequented.
