Denoted "SDF" which I presume to mean "Salmon Dry Fly". Mint original condition with paper and gum strips on both the grip and fighting butt with Walt's initials on both. The rod was made in Chester, N. Y. and is serialized with No 1, 1998. It weighs 7. 3 ounces on my scale. Flamed cane in three up node pattern. Superb varnish. The wraps are dark brown with
