Exactly the type of record Ty needed to make if he really is as bored with garage rock as he occasionally sounded on Twins. I think the comparisons to Tyrannosaurus Rex are a little lazy (and wouldn't be made if not for the Ty Rex EPs), as this album's psychedelic bent comes from somewhere entirely more internal than Marc Bolan's early material.
