Panorama 3:1 - SuRk32b landscape photography The Area where the fallsPowerful Indian Ocean waves surging around Sugarloaf Rock during high tide. Distinctive by its shape, this conical shaped rock resembles an old fashioned sugarloaf, hence the name Sugarloaf Rock. This large granite island is separated from the mainland by a small treacherous strip of water. When the swell is in full force swimming is not an option however on a really calm day it is an excellent place for divers.
