SMOG - Knock Knock LP grunge Features tracks by Holger CzukayHalf speed master 20th anniversary reissue. Highly recommended. At least a handful of these songs are classics, including the beautifully written, Jacques Brel esque River Guard, the Lou Reed inspired Hit the Ground Running, the sparse indie folk of Teenage Spaceship and I Could Drive Forever, a bleary eyed road trip into melancholia. This is probably the best entry point in the catalog of both Smog and Bill Callahan.
