Orvis Model 99 Bamboo Fly Rod 7'6" 2/2 #6 6'9" the smallest in Bob McChristian'sAn Orvis Model "99" bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #6 line. Serial #40939 and weighs 4. 2 ounces. Fair condition. The wraps could use some re varnish and one tip is a later replacement. Dark oven temper cane done in a three up node pattern. Wrapped red with black snake guides. The ferrules are oxidized and swiss style. The rod is straight and very usable. The grip is well soiled and 6" long, turned to a slim cigar profile. The
