The cuve is composed of Chardonnays from the famous Grands Crus Avize and Cramant in the Cte des Blancs, sourced only from selected plots with particularly sparse chalk soil. The aging takes place half in barriques. Five years of lees aging, minimal dosage, and very restrained sulfur use ensure distinctive minerality and a finely textured backbone.
