After WWII the Americans helped to rebuild the Japanese economy by commissioning components to be used in the manufacture of costume jewellery. The six station base is also vintage and was sourced as old warehouse stock in the USA along with the daisies. The detail ethically and sustainably made limited edition made from vintage Japanese plastic daises (c. 1950 60s)
