I had never seen one of these planters before
with a few minor scratches to the exterior and very light wear to the lacquer around the edges
British Hand-painted Postcard of Cottage in Derbyshire, Unused, C. 1910 intelligence test classic things that have alreadyI'm not sure it gets much more British than this sweet hand painted postcard of gabled, ivy covered cottage in Derbyshire, which, having googled cottages in Derbyshire, is indeed 100% quintessential, though I could not find a reference to the Jan Ford cottages noted at upper right. Nicely done in watercolor, with very thick, painterly application, or maybe even oil paint, used for the bushes trees and ivy. Lovely, and with an unused back for
