Hardy Uniqua 2 7/8" fly reel - 1912 check 5'6" The gap between the screwlock

The gap between the screwlock component and the spacer does not affect the use of the reel seat

The rod has been lawn cast only and the bottom of the butt cap shows some very slight marks in the bluing

Hardy Uniqua 2 7/8" fly reel - 1912 check 5'6" The gap between the screwlockFor sale here is a scarce Hardy Uniqua model 2 7 8" diameter with the 1912 check. Marked "Patent Uniqua Reel". Ivory handle. Mechanically the reel is still in good condition with a strong RHW fixed check and some end play like most Uniqua style reels. The original smooth brass foot is unblemished. No cracks, chips, dings, or line grooves. A very nice and rare old Uniqua!
