The pot forms the front housing of the OptiFlo pump's wet end, enclosing the strainer basket and providing the sealed chamber through which pool water passes before reaching the impeller. When the pot cracks, warps, or develops a leak at the basket seal, water loss and loss of prime follow quickly. Replacing the pot with
