It actually immediately made me think of the work of Belarusian born French artist Ossip Zadkine (1888 1967) whose work (and museum and studio in Paris) I really love. Not large at six inches tall, but with a substantial and dramatic presence, with fantastically stylized forehead tapering into wonderful almost trunk like nose that feels as if
